“Is He speaking to you?” This simple question from Donna Martin to her husband Bishop WC Martin in the powerful new release Sound of Hope: the Story of Possum Trot resonates deeply with me. It echoes Isaiah 30:21, a verse I memorized as a teenager: “Your ears will hear a word behind you, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right or to the left.” This reminds us that Jesus is actively working in His church and among His people today. The real question is: Are we listening and obedient to His word and voice?
We’re thrilled to celebrate another record-breaking quarter of engagement through the local church with 111Project. Together, we’ve impacted thousands of children—whether through foster care, adoption, or responding to needs on CarePortal. Recently, I had the privilege of meeting “Madeline,” a mom who needed a car starter. Responding to a CarePortal request, an anonymous donor provided $40, allowing Madeline to get her vehicle running again. Her resourcefulness and resilience were inspiring as she quickly replaced the starter from a local junkyard. Her story is just one example of how simple barriers are being removed, thanks to your generosity and our strong community!
We couldn’t achieve these milestones without you. Together, as the body of Christ, we are stronger and more effective than we could ever be on our own.

Come join us at the 111Project 1Day Conference as we gather with the local church to see that every child has family. This day of church equipping, connecting, and vision-casting brings the Oklahoma church network together so that 1Day we can see the vision of every child having family come to reality! 111Project is also excited to announce an extension of the 1Day event called 1Night, an event for your friends and family. Join us as we pray, advocate, worship, and celebrate the work of the church with a gathering in the evening that includes a water lantern release, with each lantern representing one of the 1,000 churches in the Oklahoma network of care.
