Together, we served 50,000 Oklahoma children! Let’s not forget this number is also a reflection of the huge relational impact of our church, volunteer, and community partner network. Thank you for making this milestone possible.
Every day, case workers vet and submit needs to CarePortal. At the 111Project, we work with our network of churches and community members to meet those needs. Often, requests are met by a collaboration of multiple entities. When a 16-year-old in Tulsa needed a food handler’s permit and work clothes for her first job, City Church Tulsa and Battlecreek Owasso partnered to invest in her and her future. This request also allowed us to cross the 50,000 threshold.
Collaborations among churches are often facilitated through volunteers who serve as the church’s primary point of contact. These volunteers stay informed about needs as they are submitted and step up when they become aware of resources that can meet those needs. If you would like information on how your church can participate or how you can volunteer as a church point person, please use our inquiry form.
