A Home for Every Child

On February 11th, 2026 Oklahoma became the first state to join the national “A Home for Every Child Initiative” (see press release).  As a part of that initiative, 111Project is releasing this resource as a spotlight of where foster families are needed across the state of Oklahoma by county.  This interactive map shows the amount of new foster homes needed to achieve a 1 Family to 1 Child ratio in every Oklahoma Community.  The color code shows a community ranking of difficulty of finding those available foster homes based on county population.

111Project’s mission is to mobilize the local church to see that every child has family.  With over 6200 churches across the state, we have set it out as a goal to build a church network of over 1,000 churches that will pledge annually to recruit and support 1 new foster family a year while also supporting 1 child welfare involved family every month through our CarePortal platform.  We believe together we can see that families are waiting on children instead of children waiting on families creating one of the first more than enough states.
