Join us for our next Community Gathering with DHS, local church leaders, and other agency and community members with a heart for child and family welfare. We will discuss local resources and needs including CarePortal. We will be celebrating local child welfare workers! Lunch will be provided.
We will be gathering with church leaders to watch a prescreen of the movie Possum Trot. This movie is based on a true story about a church in Texas that had 22 families adopt 77 children from foster care. This prescreen will be a great opportunity to get people excited and raise awareness about adoption and the needs of children in Foster Care in our nation.
