    What is a Community Gathering?In the simplest terms, this is where you get to hear about what is happening in your community at a very local level and how you can be involved.  These are regular meetings of church and agency leaders, as well as community members, who collaborate to support and advocate for children and families, particularly through the CarePortal. These gatherings provide a platform for sharing stories (both the good and the challenging), discussing local needs, collaborating on resources, developing strategies for family support, and planning future actions for vulnerable children and families within each specific geographic community.

    Join 111Project on November 18th for an evening dedicated to learning how you can support and be involved in foster care, adoption, and vulnerable families in our community. The Tulsa Cares event will explore the child welfare crisis, feature powerful stories from those with lived experiences, and offer you the chance to connect with local agencies ready to support you in making a difference. Agencies with volunteer opportunities will also be present. This event is open to all Tulsa-area churches and their congregations. We look forward to seeing you there!
