Join us for our next Community Gathering with DHS, local church leaders, and other agency and community members with a heart for child and family welfare. We will discuss local resources and needs including CarePortal. Food will be provided.
What is a Community Gathering? In the simplest terms, this is where you get to hear about what is happening in your community at a very local level and how you can be involved. These are regular meetings of church and agency leaders, as well as community members, who collaborate to support and advocate for children and families, particularly through the CarePortal. These gatherings provide a platform for sharing stories (both the good and the challenging), discussing local needs, collaborating on resources, developing strategies for family support, and planning future actions for vulnerable children and families within each specific geographic community.
