In March, Tulsa-area pastors’ wives joined our team for a journey of awareness across the city. Together, we walked through places where lives are being transformed every day.
The 111Project Advocacy Bus Tour went from SheBrews to DHS, the courthouse, a local school, and Circle of Care. Each stop told a story and allowed us to experience the full spectrum of child welfare and family advocacy in our own community. From prevention to stabilization to wrap-around care, we saw what it looks like to surround families in their most vulnerable moments. We were educated, equipped, and reminded that everyone can do something.

The local Church has a vital role to play, not as observers, but as active participants bringing hope, healing, and support to families in crisis.
This was our first tour. We’re dreaming about what this could look like in communities all across our state, and we’d love for you to be part of the story. If you’re interested, let us know what you’d want to see on a future tour or how you’d like to get involved. Together, we can empower our communities so that every child has family.
